Peter Laing

Peter holds a Masters Degree from UW-STOUT in Industrial Education. He was a shop teacher for over 30 years teaching a variety of courses including woodshop, welding, auto mechanics, and machine shop. For 20 years he taught in a Juvenile Prison in Minnesota. At that time the teachers were the facilitators of the Treatment program EQUIP which taught social skills, anger management and moral reasoning. Currently, Peter uses a woodworking curriculum he created that includes fine woodworking, carpentry and creativity using a wood lathe.
